The Beit Metzudot Program
The Beit Metzudot program at Seeach Sod gives students with severe intellectual impairment the chance to interact with the world, each at their own level of development. Using a range of innovative therapies, staff members strive to achieve communication with their students whatever their capacity.
Aged between 8 and 21, the student body is made from males and females with complex intellectual and communication difficulties. Each one receives a comprehensive evaluation, including psychological evaluation, allow for ongoing adaptation to the treatment plan to match the students progress.
The Beit Metzudot Program
The emphasis in the Beit Metzudot program is to achieve some form of communication with the individual, each in accordance to his/her capability. if a student is unable to communicate verbally, his/her therapies will focus on Augmentative and Alternative Communications through the PECS exchange system or ICT (Intellectual Communication Technology) programs.
The ability to communicate empowers the impaired individual with a sense of independence and aids in his/her performance of daily living activities.
